Knowledge of the legislative process in Poland has a fundamental significance for the correct and complete interpretation of legal regulations. Understanding how a given provision was created, what was the intentions of the legislator, what discussions and compromises accompanied its adoption, provide the context that is necessary for the proper interpretation of its meaning.
