The Credit Agreement in CHF

Cases involving CHF-denominated loans require not only knowledge of the relevant legal regulations, but also an in-depth understanding of banking practice and the realities of litigation. Thanks to our many years’ experience in handling such cases, we provide a thorough analysis of the contract, an assessment of possible scenarios and the selection of a strategy tailored to the client’s situation and objectives.

We provide specialist legal services in cases concerning loans denominated in Swiss francs, drawing on our many years’ experience in analysing loan agreements, banking documentation and litigation relating to this type of financing.

Our practice encompasses both the legal assessment of existing agreements and the development of a tailored strategy for each client’s individual situation. In particular, we analyse how exchange rates are determined, conversion mechanisms, the scope of information provided at the time the agreement was entered into, the distribution of rights and obligations between the parties, and the potential economic and legal consequences of the contractual arrangements adopted.

Initiating court proceedings will not be the best solution in every case. Therefore, before a decision is made, we present possible courses of action, including the potential benefits, risks, costs and expected duration of each scenario. Depending on the circumstances, we recommend negotiation, mediation, reaching a settlement or pursuing the dispute in court.

Our aim is to ensure that our clients make an informed and sound decision, based on a thorough analysis of the documents and a realistic assessment of the litigation situation.
